Old palm oil trees (which have been injected with poisons to kill them) stand without fonds, beside new palm oil trees which have been planted and have begun to grow, 'New Britain Oil Palm Limited', near Kimbe, West New Britain Island, Papua New Guinea, Wednesday 24th September 2008. The older trees have been killed off due to them becoming too tall to harvest, and not producing enough fruits.
