Beiataake Orea, a school teacher, stands on the beach at Tenoraereke village, looking at fallen coconut trees, uprooted due to erosion of the land by the sea, on the island of Kiribati island. The islands, and their way of life, are endangered by rising sea water levels which are eroding the fragile atoll, home to approximately 92,000 people.
