Photographs from the Nikka whisky distillery in Yoichi, Hokkaido, northern Japan. The distillery was founded my Masataka Taketsuru. In 2008 the distillery won the World Whisky Award Single Malt whisky of the year category for the 'Yoichi 20 Year old' single malt.
