The Atomic Dome Memorial in Hiroshima, Japan, on Friday Aug. 5th 2005. The Dome is a memorial to the atomic bombing of the city of Hiroshima, on 6th August 1945, during World War 2. The bomb was the first atomic bomb to be used in warfare, and was dropped by the US military.
